Price Rite Workers Rally for their Right to Join a Union

Bridgeport, Conn., Mayor Bill Finch and state representatives support the Price Rite workers' rally to join a union. Price Rite workers and UFCW local unions held rallies in Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and New York on July 1.

Local 1776 Acme Workers Reach out to Philadelphia Community

Recently, workers from 40 Acme Markets across Philadelphia and the Pennsylvania suburbs overwhelmingly rejected a contract proposal that the company had described as its last, best and final proposal. More than 3,000 union members attended the ratification vote, with 95 percent rejecting the contract.
